There are plenty of bars and restaurants around, from high end eateries (Champers which was incredible) to cheaper bites in the Tikki Bar. It's within walking distance to a local supermarket, St Lawrence Gap and Rockley beach. The hotel is in a fantastic location on the beachfront.
